Walk Notes
Lots of in-your-face seaside promenades along this walk. Luckily during this visit most things were closed and there were few folk about despite it being late June. Without a doubt the most spectacule section is just beyond Penrhyn Bay where the path passes through a housing estate and onto the Little Orme headland. The is a steep ascent to the summit and then straight back down.
An interesting story was seen on the return bus journey back to Abegele. The area appears to run down in places with a lot of unemployment. As the bus passed through one of these areas it stopped to take on further passengers. One of these passengers was accompanied by a golden labrodor which was obviously a guide dog judging by the harness. The harness held a rather large lady at the other end who was towing a shopping basket in the other hand. This was not a basket but stropped down to the frame and a beer crate bunjied onto it, full of cans of beer. It did make us wonder whether this was a guide dog for the partially inebriated, or a guide dog for the blind drunk. I guess the former.
