About Griffmonster Walks

This Website started out as a record of the walks undertaken by the Griffmonster. Indeed, this is still the case and one should consider each walk on this site as nothing more than a travelogue of each particular expedition, its insights and its later research of the features encountered. This hopefully provides an entertaining resource to peruse for those who have similar interests.

Anyone planning or researching a similar walk should only use the information on this site as a general guidance and in no circumstances use it as a definitive guide. Although we endeavour to keep the walks pages up-to-date, we hold no responsibility for changes in public transport, availability of refreshment stops or the general information provided.

The aims of this site are to promote walking, to encourage the use of public transport and to provide original research for specific features encountered along the walk. This is to both challenge and stimulate the reader into undertaking their own research and investigation. This site seeks to put something back to the web from having read, digested and researched the copious books, websites and blogs that have assisted in planning our own expeditions, and therefore provide assistance to those who seek to do similar in the future.

No profit or reward is taken from this site and all links and reviews of business and commercial enterprises are purely included as basic information for the would be walker or hiker.

If you do find incorrect information then please email Griffmonster Walks at the link at the bottom of this page and we will endeavour to verify and correct where necessary.
