An Extended Walk around the Rendlesham UFO Trail
Published: 2012-01-22 | Updated: 2014-02-06
December is the anniversary of the event which has become known as the Rendlesham Forest Incident. Over three days in the winter of 1980, during the period between Christmas day and the New Year, US service men encountered an unidentified landed craft in the forest that surrounds the twin bases of RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters. Col Charles Halt who led an expedition into the forest on the third night has since issued an affidavit which clearly states: "I believe the objects that I saw at close quarter were extraterrestrial in origin and that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted – both then and now – to subvert the significance of what occurred at Rendlesham Forest and RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation."
This is a walk of intrigue and exploration and covers a larger extent than the official marked out UFO Trail that has been waymarked by the forestry commission.
